Some random pictures from the end of June.... Hudson going fishing and boating with Donny and our good bud Cory!
Hudson insists on sharing Lilah's tub... she's not too fond
What a cutie! About 4 m 3 weeks here
That pretty much takes us into the beginning of July... We actually did not get any pictures of the 3rd and 4th.... The 3rd we bought a new car... We just were at the point where we had to... We could not fit into Donny's truck and haven't been able to since ... Hudson was born pretty much. We upgraded to a 04 Titan... I love it. I do not love the gas milage... or lack of... but it's pretty and leather seats and mst importantly we'll be able to go do fun things with it as a family :) But anyways the 3rd we went to Big Lake and watched fireworks and camped :) The kids did really well and then the 4th we went to the cabin where my bro joined us to watch some fireworks. We had an enjoyable time....

Cabin

Donny's family has this cabin on Guemas Island... Donny went there a lot as a young dude and he's enjoying taking the kids there... We go when we can, it's kind of a drive but nice to get away :) swinging on the swing
very busy

Down at the campfire... my boys :)

My grad party

Had my grad party in the middle of June. It was really nice having the people that could make it come out and celebrate with me. It really meant a lot to me as this degree was a lot of hard work and preserverance. While sooo many people told me I wouldn't finish once I got pregnant with Hudson is was so nice to prove them all wrong and just show them that while I hold high expectations for other people, I hold them even higher for myself.

The boys had a good time in the dirt after most of the guest left :) Lilah looking pretty in the dress my amazing aunt Jovie sent! Love and miss that whole family and wish they lived here!

What a day!

What a day today is.... First off it is Donny's 28th birthday!! So happy birthday to the love of my life! You are an inspriation to me and I love you with all of my heart. We have two beautiful children together and you and them make my world go round! We will celebrate tonight with a flank steak, asparagus, artichoke and topping it off with a chocolate peanut butter pie. I'm not sure if I'll like it as much as the strawberry cream pie I made last year... but you never know till you try something new!

Second it was a year ago today that we found out we were pregnant with Miss Lilah. Wow what a wonderful year, and it is just the start to many things and adventures to come....
Miss L turned 4 months yesterday I can't believe it! So since yesterday just got busy and the pictures I took of her didn't really turn out I went out today and took some.... so cute is all I have to say. Enjoy!

One more today

Wow I'm really in the updating mood... And since I might as well add the cute pics I took today... Here they are.

My Hudson

There seems to be a lack of Hudson in the pictures that I take... But as I tried to take some of him today I realized why... it's hard to take pictures of the always active Hudson... I've started trying to video tape him more because of it. He is such a sensitive, spirited, loving little boy. Hard to believe that two short months he will be three! I managed to get a couple of pics... notice the haircut... I did that myself... usually it turns out horrible when I do it... but not so much this time if I do say so myself :)

I decided I really love this picture

Miss L

We are hoping those eyes stay that color
This is her personality

She just melts my heart... It was really sunny this past weekend and so I've been waiting to put Miss Lilah in her bathing suit for the first time... My mom was there and she got Miss L cracking up!

Thank you

I wanted to put a little note saying Thanks to some very special people.... I would not have been able to get done with school without the emmense help I recieved from my parents. They have done so much for Don and I, they did or at least helped Don with almost everything on the house we moved into. It would never have gotten done without your help and that was a huge sanity saver, it helped take my mind off of that and was able to concentrate on school. Also, thanks for always helping with Hudson when we needed it.

Also, I wanted to thank Donny who has worked so hard for us. While I say my parents did almost everything, Donny was right there with them. Raw end of the deal for Don since on top of trying to get us able to move he was working and is still interning down in Vancouver. He is amazing and I would not be the person I am today with his constant devotion and love. He is my rock.

A BIG thank you to my brother, who has driven down from Bellingham these last 3 weeks to come with me and Lilah to class. You are amazing and have such a huge heart. You made it so that I could concentrate and know that Lilah was nearby and well taken care of! You really are one of the kindest people I know

My bro sitting in the car outside of my class :)
And lastly to my friends, who have listened to me bitch and moan, and had my back and kept encouraging me. You all keep me sane! Thank you!

I feel blessed to live the life I live and I have so many people to thank for that. Love you all!

WOW

1month old

My absolute favorite picture at the moment
First picture of her smiling!

Family picture minus boo boo minutes after Lilah was born... we were going on oh like one hour of sleep

There has been so much going on in our busy lives! Miss Lilah is six weeks old today and my how the time has flown by... we feel so blessed with this little girl, she is such an easy going baby! Hudson still continues to show no jealousy of her and gets so excited to see her especially when he or she wakes up. The one unfortunate thing that plaugues Lilah is that she has a little touch of reflux, she's a spitter, which is something Hudson never did! But I'll take a little bit of spit up over sleep any day of the week!

Lilah is starting to smile which is always something to look forward to, she has definently grabbed a hold of my heart with that toothless grin :) She has also been able to roll onto her side and hold up her head for a few weeks now. It is amazing how fast they grow! Hudson meanwhile talks soooo much it is really unbelievable. He can carry on a conversation, count to eleven, and is doing a great job with the potty. With everything going on I haven't pushed the potty like at all... Donny puts him on it though and puts him in the big boy undies and he hasn't had an accident in the last few days that we've worked on it... I'm so proud of him, he blows my mind how compassionate and caring he is. The terrible two tantrums have pretty much gone aways. I don't know if it has anything to do with Lilah but it sure seems like it!

On other news and the reason this has not been updated is that I finished school! It's been like 6 years or so in the making but I finally did it! I just had my last class last Thursday and I couldn't be happier. I feel as though I am going to have a life again! Having a baby and a two year old, moving (and having to get the house ready for us to move), and school isn't really that much fun... school and the kids weren't that bad, it was just moving and the cleaning (like having to ubber clean the house, and do a lot of things I wasn't anticipating doing) was the hard part. But I guess everything happens for a reason and that whole experience you could say was a learning experience :) Would I do it all over again if I knew then what I know now.... probably everything except the move and all that went into it. But lets end that part on a happy note, it's wonderful being home with Donny and the kids and have our bed up again! As soon as we are totally done I'll post some befores and afters. But for the meantime you'll have to look at my babies!

6:31 AM

and me the day before my water broke... a week early!

As you all might know we did not find out the sex of the baby. We were overjoyed at the birth of our daughter! My water broke a week before her due date, of course when my mom flew to Boise to visit my grandpa :). I went to the hospital got admitted and was really only in labor for a few hours (we had to go early since I tested positive for GBS and needed antibiotics for 4 hours prior, and since I was only in labor with Hudson for about 4 hours, they wanted me in right away) but it really was an easy experience, I got to the hospital not having contractions and from the time they started it was about 5 and I was dialated to a six and then around 6 am I was at a seven... I went from 7cm to 10cm in the course of 5 minutes. and pushed again for about a half an hour. And then we had our little girl... I'll never forget Donny telling me "it's a girl!"

Hudson absolutely loves her! It really warms my heart to hear him in the morning say, "look at her mommy, just look at her" :) I have to watch him though as sometimes he loves her a little too much... I caught him trying to carry her the other day... goodness I had just turned my back for about a minute... my boy....

And Lilah, she's amazing. She sleeps, something Hudson was and still is not very fond of. She is an absolute joy... Just our little princess and we are all in love! We just got newborn pictures taken yesterday so hopefully birth announcements will be going out soon.

We have been so busy I've been neglecting everyone it feels like... Christmas was fun but chaotic! More about that at a later time... School started last Monday, so I will be busy with that, as well as the fact we are in the process of moving. Hopefully in the next two weeks we will be in our new place, Baby is set to arrive in 34 days. WOW I'm trying to get ready but we have so much going on, I'm trying not to get overwhelmed. I'll write more later just trying to get things together lol :)
